LaserFab is LASER FAB LIMITED trading as LaserFab, NZBN 9429053377210. We provide laser cutting, CNC folding and light fabrication services from Unit 3, 8 Ke Ahi Rise, Tauriko, Tauranga 3110, New Zealand.

We may collect contact and quote information such as your name, business name, email address, phone number, project description, materials, quantities, delivery or pickup preferences, account information and messages you send to us.

We may also collect information submitted through contact forms, trade-account pages, material enquiry forms, quote forms and other public website forms.

Quote and job information may include uploaded CAD files, drawings, PDFs, images, specifications, measurements, notes, revision details and related manufacturing instructions.

Only upload files you own or are authorised to provide. Uploaded files may be used to assess, quote and manufacture your job and may be retained for revisions or repeat orders.

Our website uses browser storage for quote drafts, saved designs, material preferences and account sessions. Hosting and security providers receive technical information, including IP address and browser information, when serving your requests. We keep operational error logs. QR campaign records include time, browser information, referring website and a hashed IP identifier for approximate visitor counts.

Optional browser analytics are disabled in our website application. Our website code does not load advertising pixels or session recordings. See our Cookie Policy for browser-storage choices.

We collect information to respond to enquiries, prepare quotes, check drawings and files, process jobs, manufacture parts, provide customer support, manage accounts, maintain records, protect website security and improve the website and services.

We use service providers to operate the business and website. These may include Base44, email-delivery providers, hosting, analytics, logging, security and support tools.

Service providers may process or store information outside New Zealand. We use these providers so we can run the website, receive files, manage records, send emails and support customers.

Quote details and files pass from the public website to our internal LaserFab quoting and production system. Email notifications use an email delivery provider. If you request optional AI file suggestions, filenames and material selections are sent to an AI service provider; that feature does not inspect drawing geometry. If you use a chat assistant, your messages may also be processed by an AI provider. Avoid including unrelated personal information or confidential third-party information.

Customer information may be accessed by LaserFab staff and contractors who need it for quoting, production, administration, accounting, support, security or website operation. LaserFab does not sell customer information.

We retain personal information and customer files only for as long as reasonably required for quoting, order processing, legal, accounting, support, revision and repeat-order purposes.

Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020, you may request access to personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it if it is wrong.

You can also ask us to delete information where appropriate. Some records may need to be retained for legal, accounting, order history, support or legitimate business reasons.

If you have a privacy complaint or believe there has been a privacy breach, contact us using the details below. We will review the issue, respond as soon as reasonably practicable and take appropriate steps where required.

You may also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner. Providing personal information is voluntary, but without the required contact or job details we may not be able to respond or prepare a quote. A request does not subscribe you to promotional emails.
